Another idea for the short film was the same storyline and narrative but the comedy is more sinister than the Kick Ass-esque comedy...

& the superpower featured is seeing things from other perspectives, tying in well with a superpower you would most likely see in X-Men!

Initial Ideas In Tweets - Outcast - Fourth Idea
Another comedy could potentially feature an outcast, who walks/flashes past people with dirty secrets written on walls...

to fit in the simple idea fairly well, the narrative is poetic and the film is dominated by a sole total shot of a character walking...

Initial Ideas in Tweets - Procedural Story - First Idea
Hmm... A procedural story being a jigsaw puzzle or scrapbook metaphorically for the comedy

Likened to How I Met Your Mother: as the person is going through a scrapbook telling their sister's journey...
— John Aiwone (@John_A2Media) September 19, 2013

Much like Ted tells his kids the processional story of how he met their mother!

Short Films - No More
Simple Setup
- Four common situations that takes place in everyday life: freedom, trust, happiness and time and are portrayed in a different but very insightful way.
Techniques - Camera
- Tracking shot of a water fountain running
- Close-ups of cup and saucer shaking with coffee spilling out of the cup - provides the film with a quirky vibe and a sense of realism and increased tension.
Techniques - Editing
- Panning shots for "Freedom", "Trust" and "Happiness" are in freeze to reveal the issues pointed out with more depth prior to becoming live-action.
Narrative
- Short film showing four issues, which reveal how people can be getting on with their daily routine, yet they miss something extraordinary that happens and is intense psychologically.
- "No more" being susceptible and invisible to the world around us.
- "No more" trying to elude the extremes of humanity.
- Video Synopsis: "A piece that explores issues that are unseen to the eye in society everyday. Daily issues are slowed down to demonstrate how the things we don't pay attention to may appear if we did take a closer look."

Short Films - Identity

?????
Simple Idea
- Video Synopsis: "Living in a world where everybody wears masks due to lack of self-identity, a brave girl encounters the truth that sets her free."
- Alludes to the fact that people find it difficult to find their own identity, stay true to themselves in all scenarios given in modern society and not be influenced by others, particularly the luxuries painting false pictures via the use of celebrities and other famous people.
Techniques - Mise-En-Scene
- Location being a school fits in well with representing teenagers and children as a school is a common place where the aforementioned are put to the test in terms of succumbing to the norms and turning the other cheek and just being yourself.
- Position in the frame - Zoomed in long-shot of the main character in the foreground whilst the other students are in the background - implying her significance and forming a picture of what is in the world around her. As she's walking through the hallway and looks at the social groups, there is a fair amount of distance between her and the social groups: displaying her isolation, which is further compounded when she is sitting by herself in the classroom whilst the others are sitting in groups.
- Props - Drawings in scrapbook in the close-up feature a young girl solely sitting on a staircase as well as adults with no faces - it's possible that the main character may not have felt accepted by her family in the past. The students wearing masks, especially the masks being the same as their friends, equates to the following of similar traits and an inability to be different and lacking their own persona as a consequence.

Faceless |
Techniques - Camera
- Close-up of poster - reveals the norm and the expectations that are placed in the sense that they anticipate being who they want to be should they follow the connotations the poster is attempting to point out to it's audience [ e.g. girls with the same mask as the girl on the poster]
- Tracking long-shot of the main character looking at the teacher and paying attention, this is a giveaway of potential in terms of making a breakthrough in social norms.
- Long-shot of friends in the same social group wearing the same mask as each other whilst the main character is wearing a unique mask - illustrates the fact that the main character is a solitary figure who's standing out from the crowd (even with a mask on at that point) and also illustrates her not belonging to a social group.
- Tilting total shot when the main character is looking at the other students in their social groups - points clearly to insecurity and doubt.
Techniques - Sound

The girl removes her mask to get her first taste of freedom! |
- "A slave is released and he discovers a whole new world" - links well with the main character removing her mask and finding her own identity: "Today, the truth found me."
- "His job is to come and free those that are still trapped" - Main character has discovered who she is and she's the turning point/start of something new and refreshing, perhaps inspiring others to remove their masks and be themselves?
- "All they can see in front of them is a dark wall" - Merely a reference to the people with no identity, the wall they would be looking at is one with nothing about themselves and their values and beliefs as an individual, it would all be something collective.
- Non-diegetic soundtrack without any images, bar the film title, creates and "eerily", daunting atmosphere.
- Also the same non-diegetic sound effects at the beginning and end to indicate the theme of full circle: with everything coming to an end how/where it all began.
